Keto Nougat Recipe

-1 cup almond flour

-2 tablespoons cocoa powder

-1 tablespoon vanilla extract


  1. Preheat oven for up to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line an 8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together the almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a little bowl. Set aside.
  3. In a clean bowl or, beat the egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add in the sugar substitute and continue beating until stiff peaks form.
  4. Mix the egg yolks, coconut oil, and vanilla extract until combined.
  5. Slowly fold the dry ingredients into the egg yolk mixture until combined (be careful not to overmix).
  6. With a rubber spatula, gently fold one-third of the egg whites in the batter to slightly lighten it. Then, fold in the remaining part of the egg whites until just combined.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly with a rubber spatula.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes clean. Allow cooling completely before cutting into slices and serving.
